The fight between “Free” and “Open”
Here is a very illuminating discussion between Tim O’Reilly and Eben Moglen about web 2.0 really showing us the fanatical, ideoligical zeal of the the Free Software movement and the pragmatic, business-oriented Open source movement. This “infighting” might not be very nice to watch - however entertaining - but is nevertheless extremely important to keep both movements vibrant, adaptive and sustainable.
